Frequently asked questions
How many days are between two dates?
Pick the start and end dates and the number of days appears at once, along with the same period in weeks and in years, months and days. By default the start date is counted and the end date is not, which is how most calculations of elapsed time work.
Does it include the end date?
Not unless you tick "Include the end date". From 1 March to 10 March is 9 days without it and 10 days with it. Include the end date when both days count, such as hotel nights versus days of leave; leave it out for elapsed time and interest calculations.
How do I count working days?
Choose whether your weekly off is Sunday only or Saturday and Sunday. The "Working days" line counts the remaining days. Tick the holiday option to also skip Republic Day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti. Other holidays differ by state and employer, so subtract them separately.
How do I add 90 days to a date?
Choose "Add or subtract", pick the start date, keep "Add", type 90 and choose "days". The result shows the date and weekday. Switch to weeks, months or years for other periods; adding a month keeps the same day number where possible.
