Signature Resizer for Online Forms
Signature resize for online forms: photograph your signature on paper, and the tool crops to the ink, makes the paper white, darkens the ink and saves a JPG at 140 x 60 px, 10KB, 20KB or the size your form needs.
Your files are processed on your device and never sent to a server.
How to use Signature Resizer
Sign on plain white paper with a black or dark blue pen and take a clear photo of it.
Pick a size (for example "140 x 60 px, 10-20 KB"), click "Choose your ..." and choose the photo. The box jumps to your signature; adjust it if needed.
Click "Make", check the preview at actual size and the green KB tick, then download signature.jpg.
When to use Signature Resizer
- Bank exams. IBPS and SBI forms ask for 140 x 60 pixels and 10 to 20 KB.
- SSC, railway and state exams. Signature limits are usually between 10 and 40 KB.
- Job and college forms. Many portals simply ask for a signature "under 10KB" or "under 20KB".
- Digital documents. A clean signature image for letters, invoices and forms, on a white background.
Limits and privacy
- One photo at a time, 25MB each. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF.
- Output is JPG with a white background, which almost every portal accepts.
- "Make paper white and ink darker" removes grey shadows from phone photos. Lower the cut-off if thin strokes disappear.
- Your signature never leaves your device. Do not upload signatures to sites you do not trust.
Frequently asked questions
What size should a signature be for SSC/bank forms?
Bank exams (IBPS, SBI) commonly ask for 140 x 60 pixels and 10 to 20 KB in JPG. SSC has asked for a JPG of 10 to 20 KB at about 6.0 x 2.0 cm. Other forms vary, so always check the notification. You can type any width, height and KB range in the tool.
How do I make the background white?
Keep "Make paper white and ink darker" ticked. Every pixel lighter than the cut-off becomes pure white, and the ink is darkened so it stays clear after compression. If parts of a light signature disappear, move the cut-off slider up; if grey shadows remain, move it down.
How do I reduce signature to 10KB?
Choose the "Under 10 KB" preset, or set Max KB to 10 on any preset, then click Make. The tool finds the highest JPG quality that fits, and for the free-size preset it also shrinks the image until it is under 10KB. A cleaned signature on white paper usually fits easily.
Should I sign in black or blue ink?
Black ink is the safest choice; many exam notices ask for it specifically and it gives the cleanest scan. Some forms accept blue ink. Use a gel or felt pen rather than a thin ballpoint, and sign in your usual running signature, not capital letters, unless the form says otherwise.
