Rotate and Flip Image Online

Rotate image 90 degrees, 180 degrees or any angle, flip it horizontally or vertically, and fix sideways phone photos, for one image or 50 at once.

Photos that look sideways in some apps are fixed automatically: the saved file is upright and has no rotation flag.

Your files are processed on your device and never sent to a server.

How to use Rotate and Flip Image

  1. Use "Rotate left 90°", "Rotate right 90°", the "Any angle" slider, or the flip buttons. "Mirror selfie" flips a front-camera photo.

  2. Click "Choose images" and add your photos; the first one shows a preview.

  3. Click "Apply", then download the images or "Download all as ZIP".

When to use Rotate and Flip Image

  • Sideways phone photos. Fix photos that show the right way on your phone but sideways on a PC or in a form.
  • Mirrored selfies. Front cameras often save a mirror image, so text in the background reads backwards.
  • Scanned pages. Turn pages that were scanned upside down or sideways.
  • Straightening. Use "Any angle" to correct a slightly tilted horizon or document.

Limits and privacy

  • Up to 50 images at once, 25MB each. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF.
  • Rotating by 90 or 180 degrees keeps every pixel. JPG and WebP are re-saved at the quality you choose; PNG has no quality loss.
  • Free-angle rotation adds corners; fill them with a colour, or keep them transparent with PNG.
  • Images are processed in your browser and never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fix a sideways photo?

Add the photo. If it already shows upright in the preview, just click Apply and download: the new file is saved upright with no hidden rotation flag, so it also shows correctly in apps and forms that ignored the flag. If it is still sideways in the preview, use "Rotate left" or "Rotate right" first.

How do I mirror an image?

Click "Flip horizontal (mirror)" or the "Mirror selfie" preset. Everything is reversed left to right, which fixes front-camera selfies where writing appears backwards. "Flip vertical" turns the image upside down as a mirror image.

Does rotating reduce quality?

Rotating by 90 or 180 degrees moves pixels without changing them. Saving as JPG or WebP applies compression again, so use quality 90% or higher, or choose PNG for no loss. Rotating by other angles needs resampling, which softens the image very slightly.

Can I rotate many images at once?

Yes. Add up to 50 images, up to 25MB each. The same rotation and flip are applied to all of them, and you can download them as a ZIP.

Which formats are supported?

You can open JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF images and save the result as JPG, PNG or WebP. For iPhone HEIC photos, use HEIC to JPG first. To rotate PDF pages, use Rotate PDF.
