How to use Rotate PDF

  1. Click "Choose a PDF" to see thumbnails of all pages.

  2. Use "All pages left/right" or the ⟲ ⟳ buttons under a page to rotate just that one. "Turn landscape pages upright" fixes sideways scans in one click.

  3. Click "Rotate pages and save" and download the rotated PDF.

When to use Rotate PDF

  • Sideways scans. Scanner and phone apps often save some pages sideways or upside down.
  • Mixed documents. Rotate only the landscape tables or certificates in a long PDF.
  • Before uploading. Portals show PDFs as they are saved, so fix the rotation first.

Limits and privacy

  • Rotation is stored in the PDF, so it is permanent in every PDF reader, and the content is not re-encoded.
  • One PDF at a time, up to 200MB.
  • PDFs are processed in your browser with pdf-lib and pdf.js, which are served from this site. Your file is not sent to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

How do I rotate one page in a PDF?

Choose the PDF, find the page in the thumbnails, and click ⟳ (right) or ⟲ (left) under it until it looks right. Only that page changes. Then click the save button and download the PDF.

How do I save a rotated PDF permanently?

Many PDF viewers rotate the view only, and the next time you open the file it is sideways again. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself, so when you download and open the new file, the pages stay rotated in every reader and on every portal.

Does rotating change quality?

No. The tool changes the page's rotation setting and does not re-draw or compress anything, so text and images keep exactly the same quality and the file size barely changes.

Is my file sent to a server?

No. Rotating happens in your browser and your PDF never leaves your device.
