How to use SVG to PNG

  1. Choose "Scale" (1x to 4x) or "Exact width" (for example 512 px for an app icon), and the output format.

  2. Click "Choose files" to add SVG files, or open "Or paste SVG code" and add your code.

  3. Click "Convert" and download each image or all of them as a ZIP.

When to use SVG to PNG

  • App and website icons. Export icons at 512 x 512 or 1024 x 1024 for app stores and favicons.
  • Logos for documents. Word, PowerPoint and many printers handle PNG better than SVG.
  • Social media. Platforms do not accept SVG uploads; PNG works everywhere.
  • Design handoff. Turn vector illustrations into high-resolution images for clients who cannot open SVG.

Limits and privacy

  • Up to 20 files at once, 10MB each. SVG.
  • The SVG is redrawn at the output size, so edges stay sharp at any resolution (up to 8192 px wide).
  • SVGs that load external fonts or images may render without them, because the browser blocks outside files for security. Convert text to outlines in your design app first.
  • Files are rendered in your browser and never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert SVG to a high-resolution PNG?

Choose "Exact width" and pick 1024 or 2048 px, or type your own width, then convert. Because SVG is a vector format, the tool redraws it at that size instead of enlarging a small image, so lines and text stay crisp. "Scale" with 3x or 4x does the same relative to the SVG's own size.

Does SVG to PNG keep transparency?

Yes. With PNG or WebP output and "Transparent background" ticked, any area without a fill stays transparent. Untick it to add a solid background colour. JPG output always gets a background colour, white by default, because JPG has no transparency.

Why do my fonts look different?

An SVG that uses a font installed on your computer, or one loaded from the web, may be drawn with a fallback font, because images rendered in the browser cannot load outside files. In Figma, Illustrator or Inkscape, convert text to outlines (paths) before exporting the SVG, then convert it here.

Can I convert many SVGs at once?

Yes. Add up to 20 SVG files, up to 10MB each, plus any pasted code. All of them use the same size and format settings, and "Download all as ZIP" saves them together.
