How to use Image Border

  1. Pick a style (Solid, Instagram square, Rounded corners, Shadow, Double line or Polaroid), then set the size and colour.

  2. Click "Choose images" and add up to 50 photos. The first one appears in the preview.

  3. Click "Add border", then download each image or a ZIP.

When to use Image Border

  • Instagram without cropping. The Instagram square style fits any photo into 1080 x 1080 with an even border, so nothing gets cut off.
  • Prints and frames. A white border gives prints a clean edge and room for framing.
  • Rounded corners for websites and apps. Saved as PNG with transparent corners.
  • Polaroid style. A thicker bottom edge for a classic instant-photo look.

Limits and privacy

  • Up to 50 images at once, 25MB each. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF.
  • Border size can be in pixels or as a percentage of the shorter side, so a batch of different photos gets matching borders.
  • Rounded corners are saved as PNG so the corners stay transparent.
  • Images are processed in your browser and never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a white border for Instagram?

Choose "Instagram square (1080 x 1080)" and keep the colour white. Your photo is fitted inside a 1080 x 1080 square with an even border, so portrait and landscape photos can be posted without Instagram cropping them. Increase the size for a wider border, then click "Add border".

Can I make rounded corners?

Yes. Choose "Rounded corners" and set the corner radius. Set the border size to 0 if you only want the photo's own corners rounded. The result is saved as PNG so the area outside the corners is transparent.

How do I make a polaroid-style photo?

Choose "Polaroid". The photo gets a white frame with a deeper bottom edge, like an instant camera print. Adjust "Border size" to change the frame thickness. It works well for square photos.

Can I add borders to many photos?

Yes, up to 50 at once, up to 25MB each. Use a percentage border size so photos of different resolutions get borders that look the same.

Are my photos sent to a server?

No. Borders are drawn in your browser, and your photos never leave your device.
