PDF to HTML Converter
Convert PDF to HTML in your browser: the text of a text-based PDF becomes a simple web page with headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, and optionally the images embedded.
Your files are processed on your device and never sent to a server.
How to use PDF to HTML
Click "Choose a PDF".
Choose whether to include images (they are embedded in the HTML file) and, optionally, which pages.
Click "Convert to HTML", then "Download .html" or copy the code.
When to use PDF to HTML
- Publishing PDF content on a website. Turn a PDF article or notice into HTML you can paste into WordPress or a CMS.
- Emails and newsletters. Reuse PDF text in HTML emails.
- Accessibility. HTML with real headings is easier to read with screen readers than a PDF.
Limits and privacy
- The result is clean, simple HTML: headings and paragraphs, not a copy of the PDF layout. Columns, tables and exact positions are not kept.
- Scanned PDFs have no text and cannot be converted.
- One PDF at a time, up to 100MB. PDFs are processed in your browser with pdf-lib and pdf.js, which are served from this site. Your file is not sent to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Frequently asked questions
Does PDF to HTML keep the layout?
No. It deliberately produces simple, flowing HTML with h1 to h3 headings and paragraphs, so the page works on phones and is easy to edit. If you need a pixel-perfect copy of the PDF on a web page, embed the PDF itself or convert pages to images instead.
Can I edit the HTML?
Yes. The output is plain, readable HTML with a small built-in style block. Open it in any text or code editor, or copy the code into your website editor. Images, if included, are embedded as data URLs; for large sites you may prefer to save them as separate files.
Is my PDF sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, and nothing is sent to a server.
