PDF to PowerPoint Converter (Editable PPTX)
Convert PDF to PowerPoint (PPTX) in your browser. Choose Editable to get real text boxes you can change, or Exact look to get one picture per slide that matches the PDF exactly.
Your files are processed on your device and never sent to a server.
How to use PDF to PowerPoint
Click "Choose a PDF" and pick the file. Up to 50 pages at a time; type a page range for longer files.
Choose Editable or Exact look (one picture per slide). For Editable, decide whether to keep the page design as the slide background.
Click "Convert to PowerPoint", then "Download .pptx" and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
When to use PDF to PowerPoint
- Reusing slides that only exist as PDF. Change the wording or reorder slides from a deck someone sent as a PDF.
- Presenting a report or a document. Turn pages of a report, brochure or lesson into slides to present.
- Keeping the exact look. Use Exact look when a form, certificate or scan must look the same on every screen.
Editable or Exact look?
- Editable: each line of text becomes real PowerPoint text placed where it was on the page. With "Keep the page design as the slide background", colours, lines, logos and pictures stay in the background and the text is removed from it, so your edits do not show a second copy of the old text.
- Exact look (one picture per slide): the page is drawn as a picture, so it looks exactly like the PDF. Nothing is editable.
- Scanned PDFs, rotated pages and pages with sideways text cannot be rebuilt as text. They are kept as pictures even in Editable mode, and the result tells you how many.
- Tables become separate text boxes, not PowerPoint tables. Charts and shapes stay in the background picture when you keep the page design; with it turned off they are dropped.
- Fonts: Latin text uses Arial, Times New Roman or Courier New, whichever is closest. Tamil, Hindi and other Indian-language text uses Nirmala UI, which comes with Windows. The exact fonts from the PDF are not embedded, so line widths can differ slightly.
- Indian-language PDFs: Tamil PDFs saved from Chrome are read in the right letter order. Some PDFs, mostly Hindi ones with joined letters, store glyphs that have no text value. The tool finds these, leaves that text in the page picture instead of guessing, and tells you.
Limits and privacy
- One PDF at a time, up to 100MB and 50 pages per conversion.
- PDFs are processed in your browser with pdf-lib and pdf.js, which are served from this site. Your file is not sent to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the text after converting PDF to PowerPoint?
Yes, in Editable mode. Each line becomes real PowerPoint text. Lines keep the PDF's line breaks, so if you add words you may need to press Enter yourself. In Exact look mode nothing is editable because each slide is a picture.
Why do some slides stay as pictures in Editable mode?
Scanned pages have no text to move, and rotated pages or sideways text cannot be placed reliably. Those pages are kept as pictures so they still look right, and the result tells you how many. Text recognition (OCR) is not available on BA Convert yet.
Will the fonts and layout match the PDF?
The layout is close, not identical. Text boxes sit where the text was, but fonts are matched to Arial, Times New Roman or Courier New, so widths can differ. If the exact look matters more than editing, use Exact look.
Does it work for Tamil, Hindi and other Indian languages?
Yes when the PDF stores real Unicode text. Tamil PDFs saved from Chrome convert with the letters in the right order, and the text uses the Nirmala UI font. Some PDFs, mostly Hindi ones with joined letters, store glyphs with no text value; those lines stay in the page picture and the result tells you. PDFs that use old custom fonts (such as Kruti Dev) come out as wrong characters, so use Exact look for them.
Is it free, and can I use it on a phone?
It is free, with no signup and no watermark. It runs in the browser, so it works on a phone or laptop. Download the .pptx and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides; check each slide, because the layout is close to the PDF but not identical.
Is my PDF sent to a server?
No. The pages are read and the PowerPoint file is built in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for private documents.
