UPI QR Code Generator

This UPI QR code generator makes a payment QR for your UPI ID, with your name, an optional fixed amount and a note, plus a printable stand card for your shop. Free, and nothing is stored.

The QR only contains your UPI ID and these details. Money goes straight from the payer's bank to yours through UPI; BA Convert never sees or stores anything.

How to use UPI QR Code Generator

  1. Enter your UPI ID (for example yourname@okaxis or 98xxxxxx@ybl) and the name payers should see.

  2. Optional: add a fixed amount and a note such as an order number.

  3. Scan the preview with your own UPI app to check it, then download the QR or the A6 shop stand card (PDF or PNG).

When to use UPI QR Code Generator

  • Small shops and stalls. Print a stand card with your shop name for the counter.
  • Fixed-price payments. Tuition fees, subscriptions or event tickets with the amount filled in.
  • Invoices and bills. Add a UPI QR with the exact amount to a GST invoice or quotation.
  • Collecting money from friends. Share a QR for a trip or a gift contribution.

How a UPI QR works

The QR contains a standard UPI payment link: upi://pay with your UPI ID (pa), name (pn), amount (am), currency (cu=INR) and note (tn). When someone scans it, their UPI app opens with these details filled in, and the money goes from their bank to yours through UPI. No one else, including BA Convert, is involved in the payment.

Limits and privacy

  • The QR only identifies your UPI ID; it cannot take money from you. Still, check the name shown when you test-scan it.
  • Merchant QR codes from your bank or PSP app may offer extra features such as payment alerts on a soundbox.
  • Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or stored.

Frequently asked questions

How do I create a UPI QR code?

Type your UPI ID and name in the boxes above. The QR code appears straight away; scan it with your own Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm app to confirm your name shows correctly, then download it as PNG, SVG or PDF, or download the ready-to-print shop stand card.

Can I fix the amount?

Yes. Enter an amount and it is filled in automatically when the payer scans, which suits fixed prices, fees and invoices. Leave it empty if you want the payer to type the amount, which is better for a shop counter where every bill is different.

Is it safe to share my UPI QR?

Yes, sharing a QR for receiving money is like sharing your UPI ID: people can only pay you. Money is never taken by scanning your code. Be careful of the reverse: never scan someone else's QR or enter your UPI PIN to "receive" money, as that is a common scam.

Does it work with all UPI apps?

Yes. The code uses the standard UPI link format, so Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, WhatsApp Pay and bank apps can all read it. Some apps may show a caution for personal (non-merchant) UPI IDs when an amount is pre-filled; the payment still works.
