When to use JSON to CSV
- API responses. Turn JSON from an API into a spreadsheet you can sort and filter.
- Exports from apps. Many apps export JSON; convert it for Excel or Google Sheets.
- Reports for non-developers. Share data with colleagues who use Excel.
Limits and privacy
- Files up to 25MB. The CSV updates as you edit.
- Accepts an array of objects, a single object, or an object that contains an array (the first array is used).

Frequently asked questions
How are nested objects handled?
They are flattened into columns with dot names: { "address": { "city": "Chennai" } } becomes a column called address.city. Lists of simple values are joined with semicolons by default; you can put each value in its own column (tags.0, tags.1) or keep the list as JSON text instead.
Can I convert a single JSON object?
Yes. A single object becomes one row with a column for each key. If your JSON is an object that wraps an array, such as { "results": [ ... ] }, the tool finds that array and converts each item into a row.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The JSON is parsed and converted in your browser.
